DWLS is operating for 24 hours except during the Holy Week where it signs off from midnight of Maundy Thursday until 5 am of Easter Sunday.
The station's call letters (DWLS) were derived from the name Loreto, wife of former GMA (then RBS) owner, the late Robert "Uncle Bob" Stewart.
Barangay Love Stories is one of the most listened to programs now on the radio.
Not just in Metro Manila, but in the entire archipelago of the Republic of the Philippines, as FM stations under Regional GMA Network are syndicating the program.
Papa Dudut is heading the program as the master story teller. Basically, the format is the same as the old school dramas on AM Radio.
But unlike the traditional format, Papa Dudut presents it is a more contemporary way.
